Integrated Design Project 1 (IDP)
IDP is a mechanical engineering class taken at Seattle University where teams of 5-6 mechanical engineering students in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years collaborate to create a design given a certain prompt.
Role
Gear System Product Designer, Team Scribe
This design allows for rows of shopping carts to be sterilized utilizing UV light and a motorized rail system. The user will push a row of shopping carts down the rail and after UV sterilization, the carts will be pushed back out with the use of a motor.
