Integrated Design Project 2 (IDP)
IDP is a mechanical engineering class taken at Seattle University where teams of 5-6 mechanical engineering students in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years collaborate to create a design given a certain prompt.
Role

This design aids users to lift a heavy load onto the roof of a car. This design utilizes a scissor lift mechanism and rollers so that the user does not have to lift a heavy load into the roof of their car but instead onto the scissor lift which will be shorter in height. The scissor lift will then be extended using a wrench to the height of the roof and the load will be rolled on top of the car.
